Best Mozart Symphonies. When you take a long hard look at the work of W.A Mozart it is no minor challenge to have to select the best of his symphonic oeuvre. It is tempting to simply choose the last symphonies that Mozart wrote but this would be at the expense of earlier and I would argue equally important works.

Symphonies that are suspected not to be Mozart's, but have not been proven to be the work of another composer, are in this list. Mozart wrote his first symphony when he was just eight years old, and clocked up 40 more in just over two decades. But where do you start? And which one is best?
